The North Penn YMCA is a great place to have fun, get healthy and spend time with family and friends. A full facility membership enables you to use any of our three convenient full facility locations and includes:
  • access to cardio and strengthening equipment in three wellness centers
  • free fitness assessment and fitness orientation
  • access to four indoor pools
  • unlimited participation in most group exercise classes at no charge
  • free babysitting services
  • discounted rates on swim lessons and other fee-based programs
  • upper level swim lessons and water exercise classes at no

  • reduced rates on youth and teen sports, as well as arts and
    humanities programs
priority registration
Full members have the opportunity to sign up two weeks prior to session start dates.

guest privileges
Full facility members receive two free guest passes a year per membership and are encouraged to bring guests when visiting our facilities. Fees for one paying guest per visit are:

Adult: $10.00 Young Adult: $10.00
Youth: $5.00 Senior $5.00
Family: $12.00    
Peak Center, Encore Experience and Generations only
$5.00 (pool only)

A photo ID and signed guest waiver are required.

AWAY participation
Free AWAY (Always Welcome At YMCAs) imprint on your membership card for visiting other YMCAs when you travel (usually at no cost). Please call the YMCA you plan to visit to be sure they honor AWAY members. For a listing of YMCAs call 1-800-USA-YMCA.

babysitting
Babysitting services are provided by our trained and caring staff for up to an hour and a half while you exercise. Babysitting hours of operation are available at each branch.

Full members: free    Program members: $2.50/hour


financial assistance
Funds provided by the North Penn United Way and our Strong Kids Annual Gifts Campaign enable us to offer membership and program assistance to community residents with a demonstrated financial hardship. Visit any of our branch locations for more information and to pick

7th Grade YMCA Free Membership Initiative
If you are a current 7th grader in any school and would like to utilize one of our facilities, stop by with your 7th grade school ID and fill out a membership application to join our YMCA at no charge. This initiative is a great way for you to work with our staff and trainers to help you reach your health and wellness goals at our YMCA. This membership will allow you to access our programs and services at no additional fee. Become a youth Member of our YMCA today! how to register for a program
The North Penn YMCA is a membership based organization, as such, either a full facility membership or a program membership is required for participation in YMCA programs. See pages 3-8 for membership benefits, categories and rates.
  • Full facility members can take advantage of early registration two weeks prior to the start of the session. Program members may register one week prior to the start of a session.
  • Visit any one of our three full facility locations to register for a program or register online by visiting www.northpennymca.org.
  • Programs must be paid in full at the time of registration.
  • Full members may register in up to two of our complimentary aquatics and two complimentary sports classes per session. Additional classes may be taken at a 50% reduction of the program member fee. Adult aquatic exercise classes are not limited. Fee based programs do not apply.
  • Class sizes are limited to ensure quality programs. If a class is full, we will assist you in selecting another class and/or place you on a waiting list.
refund and credit policy
Program fees will be credited according to the following guidelines and a $5.00 service charge will be applied. Notify the appropriate YMCA Director:
  • Seven (7) days prior to the first class meeting, 100% credit.
  • Before the second class meeting, 75% credit.
  • Prior to the third class meeting, 50% credit.
Program credits will not be issued after the third class meeting. Credits will be honored for six (6) months from the date of issue.

Program and full memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits are non-refundable for programs requiring a deposit. Program fees and program memberships purchased in conjunction with that program will be refunded only in the event the North Penn YMCA cancels a class due to insufficient enrollment or YMCA scheduling conflict.

Refunds will not be given for missed classes due to inclement weather.

Whether you are home from college for winter break, looking to give the gift of health for the holidays or just someone interested in trying out the YMCA for a month, this membership is for you. If you wish, after a month this special can be converted to a full membership. Don’t get caught out in the cold. Sign up today at the membership desk. Purchase any day from November 15 to December 31. Membership expires 30 days from purchase. Family: $73; Adult $47; Single Parent Family $51; Young Adult $37; Youth $22; Senior $27.

A full facility branch, located in the Hillcrest Shopping Center on Route 63 in Lansdale, providing members 16 years and older with a variety of specialized programs and lots of equipment, so you never have to a wait.
