Valley Branch Summer Camp Information
Spring is right around the
corner and Indian Valley Family YMCA Youth & Teen
Department is kicking into gear our 2009 summer camp
planning! All of our camps offer developmental and age
appropriate activities, supplies and games, enrichments,
and fun!! Each summer camp site provides wonderful opportunities
to explore new things, participate in arts and crafts,
go swimming 3 days a week, play organized sports, socialize
with friends, and go on great field trips. Our camps
go on a field trip every Thursday!
Open House
For our early birds, we are offering a Summer Camp Open
House on Friday,
February 27, 2009 from 6:30-8:30pm.
Families will have the opportunity to meet camp staff,
register early, learn about all of our great field trips,
and enjoy an ice cream social! You'll have the opportunity
to register early, get the camp of your choice, and
receive a $25 camp coupon to be used for any camp week
tuition during the 2009 camp season! The inclement weather
date is Monday, March 2, 2009.

We offer a variety of camp sites ranging from grades
K-9. We have many sites available to the community.
Our camps start on the following dates:
SASD Camp Sites:
June 16, 2009
PVSD Camp Sites: June 22, 2009
Our sites vary in
age range based on the grade the child is going into
as of September 2009. Our camp sites are as follows:
SASD: Harleysville
Branch YMCA: Grades K-2
Harleysville Scout Cabin: Grades 3-5
Indian Valley Family YMCA: Grades 6-9
Souderton Borough Park: Grades 1-6
PVSD: Skippack Elementary:
Grades K-9
Our camps are available
on a weekly basis and are priced according the length
of the camp day your child attends. Our prices
are as follows:
Full
Day Camp 9 am - 4 pm
1st
child: $135 per week
2nd
child: $122 per week
Extended Day Camp 7 am - 6 pm
1st
child: $180 per week
2nd
child: $164 per week

Counselor In Training Program
For
those teens ages 13 and up who have completed our CIT
Training course, we encourage potential 2009 CIT's to
get their applications in by April 2009 to be considered
for our CIT spots at all of our elementary grade camp
sites! If you
have a teen who is interested in taking our CIT training
course during the 2009 camp season, please contact Janet
Raslowsky for dates and information. |
