DIANE MANUS
Harleysville Branch Director
Harleysville Early Childcare Center
I was born and raised in Philadelphia and have a Bachelors of Social Welfare with a major in Child Development from Temple University. I have been working in the early childhood field for over 30 years. I hold a YMCA Senior Director status and have a PA Director’s Certificate. I have also taken graduate courses to continue working on my master’s degree in early childhood education.
I have worked at the North Penn YMCA Lansdale and Harleysville Branches for over 20 years. I started as a head teacher, became the Nursery School Coordinator and later became the Early Childhood Director and currently hold the title of Branch Director since 2003.
I live in Harleysville with my husband and have three adult children. In my spare time, I enjoy vacationing and spending time with my family and dogs.
I believe in a child-centered holistic approach to early learning. Children need to feel safe, nurtured, respected and should develop a sense of community within the classroom by practicing healthy living and pro social skills.
I am passionate in providing the highest quality of early childhood services to our community and I am proud of our Branch accomplishments and the dedication and commitment of our staff.
