Our Lansdale branch is looking for a summer camp site supervisor for our sports camp.
SUMMARY OF JOB – The summer camp site director is responsible for the overall operation of the camp site and the age appropriate groups involved. It is the site director’s responsibility to supervise the children and to provide, with the assistance of all camp counselors, a curriculum that meets the needs of all campers. The site director is responsible for the overall safety of all campers and counselors.
EXPERIENCE – A site director must have an Associates Degree plus 3 years experience or Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years experience in the field of child care, teaching, or summer camp. Experience in managing staff is a plus. A site director is a person who shows maturity, good judgment, creativity and experience in programming, planning, and implementing age appropriate curriculum. The person should possess knowledge, interest and skills needed to supervise staff, young adults and children, and positively communicate with children, young adults, and parents.
