CREATING MEMORIES
THAT LAST A LIFETIME!

Adventure Guides

Our Y Adventure Guides program is a national program that has been around for over 80 years. We offer father/daughter and father/son programs for children ages 5-11. Our flexible program is active from September through June and is run by dads. Adventure Guides sends parents and their children on a journey of discovery, with the child as the explorer and the parent as the guide. Our program encourages parents to get to know their children while they are still young through group activities such as games, crafts, songs, stories, skits, ceremonies, and outdoor pursuits such as camping, hiking, and fishing. Spend one-on-one time with your child(ren) in a fun environment that builds important bonds through shared experiences.

“I have both my 10yr old and 6yr old daughters in the program and we really enjoy the memories we create and the quality time we get to spend together.  Both my girls look forward to the monthly circle meetings, but especially the campouts and the annual pinewood derby.” Dave Greeley of the Stargazers circle

“A fantastic program for dads to spend quality time with their kids…I wish I joined sooner!”

“Right level of activity for me and my son.  Not too intense and not a significant commitment in time.  Allows time for other church, sports, and community activities”

“The bonding time my daughter and I get to spend together without ‘mom’ is unique and meaningful.  She often says her favorite thing about AG is hanging out with me!”
