Through on-going, fun, safe and engaging programs, activities and events, our Active Older Adult members increase their self-confidence and sense of achievement while building relationships and celebrating the success and milestones of other older adults within a supportive community.
Older adults, individuals 55 and above, are a significant and growing segment of our communities. All adults benefit from engaging in YMCA activities that enhance connections and improves overall well-being.
Health and Fitness
Being an active older adult has its challenges; but fitness doesn’t have to be one of them. We offer basketball, yoga, cardio, core strengthening, and body toning for you to get started on your workouts. We also have water exercise classes for those active older adults who love the pool.
Social Clubs
Join our social clubs! Our card clubs, Saturday morning serials, Trivia Time, Y Walkers, bowling, beading, and Restaurant Reviews, are all great ways to get involved and socialize with wonderful people.
Trips and Events
Our active older adult trips and events are offered a few times a year. Theater trips, museums trips, and sporting events are just a few of the things we like to do.
