The Y is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active by developing healthy habits they’ll carry with them throughout their lives. Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from being on a team or building positive relationships participating in sports, it’s about building the whole child, from the inside out.
Youth Sports
Youth sports builds healthy habits, teaches teamwork and good sportsmanship. Youth sports consists of gymnastics, tee ball, dodgeball, floor hockey, rock climbing, racquetball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, tennis, and lacrosse.
Dance
Dance is a great way to develop creativity and expression all while staying fit. Dance classes include creative dance, ballet, Irish dance, and musical theater.
Tae Kwon Do
Tae Kwon Do is the ancient Korean art of self-defense. This program offers children the opportunity to learn self-defense, self-confidence, self-discipline and improves his or her power of concentration, physical strength and endurance.
Arts and Humanities
Our arts and humanities programs are great ways to encourage children to express themselves and learn how to become more creative. Arts and humanity classes include crafting, knitting and crocheting club for teens, preschool art, swing class, arts and crafts, drum, musical theater, infant to preschool music class, and kids cooking.
