The North Penn YMCA is proud to offer before and after-school care for the families attending the school districts listed below. Programs are located on-site at the school.

Perkiomen Valley School District Before & After Care

Grades K-5 Live Y’ers
Schwenksville and Skippack
Our Live Y’ers program provides a fun, nurturing environment for your child before & after school. Our Live Y’ers program includes various activities including sports, games, crafts, character development, homework supervision, snack, and more. Enrichment programs include math, reading, and science.

Souderton Area School District Before & After Care

Grades K-5 Kids Kare
Our Kids Kare program provides a fun, nurturing environment for your child before and after school. Our Kids Kare K-5 includes various activities including sports, games, crafts, character development, homework supervision, snack, and more. Enrichment programs include math, reading, and science.

You can sign up any time during the school year. Please note that your child may be put on a waiting list if the staff-to-child ratio is below the regulations.

It’s best to have a set schedule. If your work changes and you need to change your schedule, please contact the Y and give us a week to accommodate your request. The reason we request this is for the safety of your child.

If your child is not going to go to the after school program, please email the director so we can notify the after school program so they don’t look for your child.

We do give homework time and help as much as we can. We can not do one-on-one with your child. We try to ensure they get the homework done but please understand we can not make them do it.

Your handbook tells you what days we offer service and where when school is closed. We open from 7 am until 6 pm when a program is offered. This is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration forms are available at the schools to be filled out and returned to the Y.

Financial Assistance is available.  We strive to serve everyone in the community, regardless of their individual economic circumstances. Financial assistance applications are available at all of our membership offices and must be submitted with registration forms. Thank you for everything you have done! As always, we have so appreciated the care provided to our son. It’s always nice to come to school to see a familiar face and be welcomed with smiles. We definitely appreciate all the parties and the Christmas skit! It’s evident that the staff really care about our children and we are always grateful for all their hard work!
