The North Penn YMCA is seeking a part time Maintenance Technician/Housekeeper for our Harleysville Early Childhood Center.

Salary: $13-$17 per hour
Hours weekly: 5-10 (flexible between early morning, evenings, and weekends, when children are not in the building)
Qualifications:
- Requires high school diploma or GED, plus six months or more of related experience
- Effective Communication; written and oral
- Must have strong collaborative work ethic
- Ability to interact with people of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles
Responsibilities
- Perform interior building and exterior grounds maintenance as required
- Maintain facilities and equipment in safe working order; report all issues to director
- Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, restrooms and other areas of the building
- Clean and maintain floors, carpets, walls, windows, and other surfaces
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Perform any other functions necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the North Penn YMCA Harleysville Early Childhood Center
Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to perform the following physical activities adequately: standing, sitting, squatting, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching or crawling
- Ability to function under inside environmental conditions
- Ability to lift or carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds
- Ability to perform the following sensory and communicative activities adequately: hearing and seeing; reading, writing, speaking English fluently.
