Our Y offers safe, supportive programs designed just for preteens and teens. From fitness and sports to leadership and social activities, membership provides opportunities to build confidence, connect with friends, and develop lifelong healthy habits.
YMCA Membership for Teens and Pre-Teens
YMCA Family, Teen and Youth Memberships
We offer flexible membership options for teens and preteens, including coverage through a Family Membership, individual Youth or Teen Memberships, and our special 7th Grade Membership program.
Free Membership for 7th Grade Students
All 7th graders can enjoy a FREE youth membership at our Indian Valley and Lansdale branches, available from Sept. 1–Aug. 31 each school year.
Facility Access for Teens and PreTeens
Youth ages 12+ can use pools, gyms, and wellness centers independently after a free orientation. We offer teen fitness classes, plus select adult classes for ages 13–16+. Check our program guide for details.

Teens can stay active and engaged with a variety of programs, from volleyball, basketball, and dodgeball to creative options like dance workshops.

Pre-Teen and Teen Swimming
Teens can improve their skills in the water with group swim lessons for beginners and advanced swimmers, or focus on individual goals through private lessons.

YMCA Explorers Club
The YMCA Explorers Club for teens and preteens in grades 6–8 gives students the chance to explore and learn about a variety of career paths.
