Hi Everyone!
I wanted to take a moment to reach out to all of our members. I miss seeing everyone. Please know that although we may not be on campus, we are still thinking of you. Our members have become a large part of my life over the last twelve years. Each day, I look forward to our quick check-ins and updates on how you are. If anyone needs to reach out please do not hesitate. I am still checking my email daily. Being a Y member and even being staff allows us to be part of a large social community. It may be frustrating to not have this connection on a daily basis and I understand this.
The Y may be closed but we can still stay connected. Visit our website, our Facebook page and follow our department Facebook groups. You will see videos from some of your favorite instructors and staff. Most of you know I hide behind the camera at events so no videos from me but many of our staff are not so camera shy. 😊 As you know we had to cancel our Rock Your Socks Off Dance Party scheduled for Saturday, March 21. I plan to rock my socks and hope you rock yours too! Don’t forget to stay active during this time. I have been cleaning, organizing, and taking care of small household projects that always seem to be on the back burner. This has been very rewarding. Sending prayers and positivity to all of you!
