Renovations to our Lower Level are now finished and our new program space is now open! Our Clemens Studio has relocated to the bright new space on the lower level which is accessible via elevator or stairs.

In addition to our new Clemens Studio, our Lower Level also features three large flat screen TV’s, an art gallery, and the new home of the Montgomery County Head Start program.

The former location of the Clemens Studio on our second floor will now undergo renovations to become the future home of our new Family Fit Zone!

Thank you for your continued patience during this exciting renovation as we work to make our Y an even better place to learn, grow and thrive.

Y East Driveway Entrance now closed

layout map with parking, etc._16_4_28

As we continue with renovations to our Lansdale Area Family YMCA and the construction of North Penn Commons, our east driveway entrance (“C” on our renovation map and closest to the Hillcrest Shopping Center) is closed permanently.

The main entrance/exit to our property (“A“) will continue to be on the west side of the North Penn Commons campus while the one-way driveway entrance (“B“) from Main Street to the front of our Y will continue to be our child care and/or accessible parking entrance.

Once the North Penn Commons campus opens in the fall, our main entrance into the Y will be through the shared lobby (“D“).

CHILD CARE PICK-UP OR DROP-OFF
For child care pick-up or drop-off, cars will continue to enter from Main Street on the west side of our Y (“B“) and follow normal procedures. When exiting, cars will proceed down the one-way drive towards the back of our Y and follow signs to exit our property.

ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Members and visitors to our Y requiring accessible parking will also continue to enter from Main Street on the west side of our Y (“B“) and park in any available reserved parking space. When exiting, cars will continue down the one-way drive towards the back of our Y and follow signs to exit our property.

New Pool and New Member Services area Continues to Take Shape

six lane pool
Construction continues on our brand new state-of-the-art six-lane  multipurpose lap/recreation pool and new member services area.
Both areas are expected to open when construction of North Penn Commons is complete in the fall. Our pool will also feature an on-deck steam room, sauna and whirlpool.

Martin Family Pool

DSC_0123The conversion of our Martin Pool from a lap pool to a family-friendly recreation/lap pool with zero entry, slides, and water resistance channel was one of the most highly-anticipated aspects of our renovation project.

Our new Family Locker Room and new Male Locker Room are open! We are excited that our members now have three brand new spacious locker room facilities (including our Female Locker Room) to accommodate the needs of everyone. Our locker rooms are an integral part of our facility, serving nearly everyone who enters our Y. We thank everyone for your patience and think you’ll agree that the end result of our three completely new locker rooms will be a great benefit to all!
