Yes, North Penn YMCA offers financial assistance for memberships and programs to individuals and families in need. This support is made possible through the generosity of donors and is available at the Indian Valley, Lansdale, and Harleysville branches.
To apply, individuals must complete a financial assistance application and provide supporting documentation, such as recent tax returns and income verification. For child care and summer camp assistance, applicants are required to first apply for funding through the Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) and submit a denial or award letter along with their YMCA application.
Applications can be submitted via email to [email protected], in person at any branch, or by mail to the North Penn YMCA Corporate Office. Processing typically takes 2–3 weeks.
North Penn YMCA membership includes full access to two wellness centers, pools, saunas, group exercise classes, free Smart Start sessions, and Stay & Play babysitting. Members receive discounts on programs, EZONE activities, and local businesses. The mobile app and potential insurance reimbursement add extra value.
